titleOfInvention Hydrogel laminates, bandages, composites, and methods of making them
abstract (57) Abstract: The present invention provides a method by which a polymer hydrogel can be fixedly adhered to a support to produce a hydrogel laminate with significantly improved delamination resistance. With the goal. The laminate of the present invention is obtained by casting an aqueous solution of a hydrophilic polymer on a support coated with a polymer adhesive and then crosslinking the hydrophilic polymer to form a hydrogel. It is produced by exposing this complex to ionizing radiation which causes copolymerization.
