abstract (57) [Summary] (Correction) [Composition] Using the cells of the microorganism or the treated cells, 3-Cyano-6-chloropyridine (A) obtained by hydroxylating 3-cyanopyridine and further chlorinating is reduced to obtain 3-aminomethyl-6-chloropyridine (B), the amino group of which has a carbon number. Alkylation with an alkyl group of 6 or less gives 3- (alkylamino) methyl-6-chloropyridine (C). Further, (A) is reduced to obtain 3-hydroxymethyl-6-chloropyridine (D), and (A) is reduced in the presence of a primary alkylamine having an alkyl group having 6 or less carbon atoms ( C) is obtained. [Effect] It is possible to obtain chloropyridines (A, B, C, D), which are important synthetic intermediates for medicines, agricultural chemicals, dyes, etc., using inexpensive 3-cyanopyridine as a raw material.
