abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To obtain a sand core that can be sufficiently coated and has excellent disintegration even with a sand core prototype that has been solidified using the warm box method. [Constitution] A sand core prototype obtained by heating sand with a furan resin and a curing agent for heat curing of the resin and solidifying the sand core prototype is subjected to acid treatment, for example, by immersing it in a dilute sulfuric acid aqueous solution. The core mold is heated and dried, washed with water, treated with an organic acid salt, dried, and then immersed in a coating solution to uniformly coat the surface of the sand core mold. Dry to obtain a collapsible sand core. |
