abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method for producing an N-arylsulfonylcarbamate simply and in high yield using an arenesulfonamide as a starting material. [Structure] The arene sulfonamide is reacted with sodium methylate in a lower aliphatic alcohol to give a sodium salt of arene sulfonamide, which is then reacted with a carbonate compound such as dimethyl carbonate to give an N-arylsulfonyl. Carbamate sodium salt was dissolved in water and neutralized with acid. Extract with an organic solvent. In particular, according to the method of the present invention, Using p-toluenesulfonamide as the starting material, When using dimethyl carbonate, methyl (Np- Trilylsulfonyl) carbamate can be advantageously obtained.
