A certain amount of calcium oxide obtained by high temperature treatment of egg shell, mugwort, A method for producing a gastrointestinal function-regulating agent, which comprises mixing a predetermined amount of one or more kinds of sashimi or cabbage extract and mixing them into powder. A feed comprising calcium oxide obtained by treating eggshells at a high temperature and a gastrointestinal function-controlling agent obtained by adding to the feed a composition comprising one or a plurality of extracts of mugwort, pears or cabbage.
