titleOfInvention Neural model element
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a neural model element that generates an electric vibration signal by an external stimulus such as light irradiation. [Structure] Ionic aqueous solution 12 and a lipid-impregnated membrane 1 in which an ion pump and an ion channel installed therein are embedded. 3 and the electrode 16 that transmits the membrane potential of the lipid-impregnated membrane 13 as an electric signal form a nerve model element. The ion pump actively transports specific ions in the ionic aqueous solution from one side of the membrane 13 to the other side by light irradiation to form a membrane potential, whereas the ion channel forms a membrane potential. It opens when the membrane potential difference on both sides reaches a certain threshold, and the membrane potential is eliminated by passively transporting ions of the same sign as the ions actively transported by the ion pump. Therefore, when this element is irradiated with light, a membrane potential is generated by the active transport of ions by the ion pump, the membrane potential is detected and the membrane potential is eliminated, and the active transport of the ion pump is performed again. Since the process of generating the membrane potential is repeated, an electric vibration signal can be generated.
