titleOfInvention | Metallic coated photoreceptor substrate |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method for regenerating a substandard photoreceptor substrate in the production of the photoreceptor substrate. A method of forming a photosensitive imaging member is provided. This method provides a photoreceptor substrate whose surface is scratched by at least one surface defect, removes at least a portion of the surface defect when the defect is a surface height defect, and the defect is a non-surface height defect. When defective, it optionally comprises removing at least a portion of the surface imperfections, and depositing a layer of metal on the substrate, the layer of metal being free of the underlying surface imperfections remaining after the above steps. It has a surface appearance that at least partially hides it. |
