abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] By heat-treating the sand in the sandbox by forced heating, bacteria such as Toxocara spp. And / or Escherichia coli mixed in the sand are inactivated, and a carrier containing a leachable metal ion is included. A sanitary treatment method for sand in a sandbox, which comprises erasing the eggs and bacteria afterwards by mixing them, using a repellent, and installing a sandbox for dogs and cats. [Effect] It is effective for sanitary improvement of the sandbox by killing and removing the eggs and Escherichia coli of the genus Toxocara that exist in the sandbox, and continuing the effect.
