[Structure] A negative electrode made of a carbon material capable of inserting and extracting lithium ions, a non-aqueous electrolyte, and a positive electrode made of a lithium-containing oxide are provided, and the solvent of the non-aqueous electrolyte is cyclic carbonate and the general formula ROCOOR '( However, R ≠ R ′, R, R ′ contains a mixed solvent with a chain carbonate represented by an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms), the ratio of the volume of the chain carbonate / the volume of the cyclic carbonate is 1 or more and 9 or less, and X of the negative electrode carbon material is included. When the interplanar spacing (d002) of 002 planes by the line diffraction method is 3.39Å or less, ethylene carbonate is used as the cyclic carbonate, and when it is 3.40Å or more, propylene carbonate is used.
