(57) [Summary] [Structure] Glycerin-initiated polypropylene oxide having a hydroxyl value of 10.0 was reacted with trimethylchlorosilane to trimethylate 28% of the terminal hydroxyl groups. Next 3- Methyldimethoxysilylpropyl isocyanate was added and reacted with the remaining hydroxyl groups to obtain the polymer of the present invention. [Effect] A polymer having at least one silicon-containing group containing a silicon atom to which a hydrolyzable group is bonded and having at least one silicon-containing group capable of being separated from a polymer chain by hydrolysis to form a monosilanol-containing compound.
