Process for producing unsaturated quaternary ammonium salt |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Structure] Unsaturated primary compounds such as (meth) acryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride, which consist of reacting (meth) acrylic acid with a quaternary ammonium salt such as choline chloride in the presence of an acid catalyst. Method for producing quaternary ammonium salt. [Effect] Since the reaction can be carried out in one step, and the raw materials that are industrially inexpensively available and easy to handle can be used, the apparatus and the operation can be simplified. The unsaturated ammonium salt can be efficiently obtained in a short time while suppressing side reactions. |
