titleOfInvention | Silver halide emulsion sensitized by heavy metal compounds and thiourea compounds |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a photographic emulsion exhibiting good contrast and photographic speed without adversely affecting photographic characteristics. The heavy metal compound and a substituted thiourea sensitizer are used together as a chemical sensitizer to increase photographic sensitivity. The heavy metal compound is preferably potassium hexachloroiridate (IV), and the preferred thiourea is 3-acetamidophenylthiourea. [Effect] The photosensitivity is surprisingly increased. |
