abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a polymerization initiator for a novel quinolinium salt compound. [Structure] A quinolinium salt compound represented by the general formula (1) and a polymerization initiator thereof. [Chemical 1] [In the formula, R 1 represents an aromatic ring-substituted alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or an alkynyl group, and R 2 , R 3 , R 4, R 5 are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a halogen atom, a nitro group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxyl group, a phenyl group, an alkyloxycarbonyl group or an alkylcarbonyloxy group. Provided that R 1 is unsubstituted benzyl, Except when 2 , R 3 , R 4 and R 5 are all hydrogen atoms. X Represents SbF 6 , AsF 6 , PF 6 or BF 4 . [Effect] The polymerization initiator of the present invention is more effective as a polymerization initiator of a cationically polymerizable compound than conventional polymerization initiators, and can be polymerized and cured extremely quickly and at low temperature by heat treatment. |
