According to the present invention, by controlling the temperature and humidity during storage of the original plate, it is possible to correct the size of the original plate and adjust the size of the duplicate plate that depends on this size, and to improve the dimensional accuracy. A good concavo-convex pattern of an optical disk, a magneto-optical disk, or a relief pattern of a hologram lens can be constantly provided.
