abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a recording medium which is used in an information processing apparatus to which the principle of a scanning tunneling microscope is applied and which enables random access and high-speed access. [Structure] A plurality of small recording areas surrounded by tracks on four sides by a grid-like track pattern, and edges on both sides that define the width of the tracks surrounding the four sides are straight and parallel, and a combination of the widths of the tracks is formed. Is different in each of the small recording areas, and the opposing angles at the intersections of the tracks are not equal in both sets. |
