abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To improve the heat resistance of a rubber composition used for a compression rubber layer having a rib portion, to maintain the heat resistance even under running in a high temperature environment and extend the running life. A V-ribbed belt 1 comprising an adhesive rubber layer 3 in which a cord is embedded along a belt length direction and a compression rubber layer 4 having at least two rib portions 7 extending in the belt length direction, at least the above compression In the rubber layer 4, a dithiocarbamic acid copper salt compound was added in an amount of 0.1 to 3.0 to 100 parts by weight of a hydrogenated nitrile rubber in which a double bond in the molecule of an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer was 80% or more hydrogenated. A rubber composition containing parts by weight and a sulfur donor containing sulfur is used.
