titleOfInvention Ultrasonic material testing apparatus and material testing method using ultrasonic waves
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Ultrasonic testing of the inner and outer surfaces of cylindrical or cylindrical materials with high accuracy. [Structure] The transmitting probe has a transmitting unit that transmits ultrasonic waves in a wide range toward the receiving probe and the material surface layer between the two probes. It has a receiver that receives ultrasonic waves from two paths, and simultaneously detects ultrasonic waves on different paths. [Effect] It is possible to measure the difference in ultrasonic characteristics on the inner and outer surfaces of the object to be measured without changing the position of the probe, and prevent the occurrence of an error due to the movement of the probe, thus achieving high accuracy. Enables measurement. Further, this also dramatically improves the work efficiency.
