abstract | (57) [Summary] [Composition] Microalgae of the genus Senedesmus are produced extracellularly, A glycoprotein complex comprising a heteropolysaccharide containing galactose, glucose, mannose, rhamnose and fucose, and a protein, wherein the content of the heteropolysaccharide is 25 to 35% by weight of the entire glycoprotein complex. It can be produced by culturing a microalgae of the genus Senedesmus in a culture solution and purifying the supernatant of the culture solution after the culturing to obtain a fraction having a molecular weight of 40,000 or more. [Effect] A novel glycoprotein complex having an antitumor effect can be obtained. Since this glycoprotein complex is produced by a microalgae of the genus Senedesmus in a culture solution, it is easy to separate and purify, has high productivity, and can be manufactured at low cost. |
