(57) [Summary] [Structure] The present invention relates to a novel industrial production method of dimethyl carbonate. Dimethyl carbonate obtained by gas phase reaction using carbon monoxide and methyl nitrite as raw materials in the presence of a solid catalyst carrying a platinum group metal and / or a compound thereof or a platinum group metal and / or a compound thereof and a cocatalyst. The present invention provides a novel process which can be industrially advantageously carried out. This process consists of reaction step, absorption step, regeneration step, extraction step and distillation step. It is a continuous production method of dimethyl carbonate characterized by a process consisting of steps. [Effect] The present invention finds that dimethyl carbonate can be obtained in an extremely industrially advantageous manner, and provides an invention of a continuous production method thereof. |
