titleOfInvention | Contact charging device |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] An object of the present invention is to provide a contact charging device in which a resistance value varies little with the environment and a good image can be obtained in each environment. According to the present invention, in a contact charging device for charging a surface of an object to be charged by bringing the charging member into pressure contact with the surface of the object to be charged and relatively moving the surface of the object to be charged, the charging member is a core bar, and a conductive elastic layer on the core bar. And a surface layer on the elastic layer, the surface layer containing a polyol compound (I) having different OH equivalents, a polyol compound (II) and a reaction product containing a polyisocyanate compound as an essential raw material component, and a polyol. Compound (I) has an OH equivalent of 500 or more, The polyol compound has 2 to 60 OH groups per molecule, and the polyol compound (II) has an OH equivalent of 30. A contact charging device which is a polyol compound of 0 or less. [Effects] The present invention has made possible a contact charging device in which the resistance value varies little depending on the environment, a good image is obtained in each environment, and the durability is excellent. |
