abstract (57) [Summary] [Constitution] An electrolytic device is used in which an ionic conductor is placed between opposing electrodes and electrolyzes by passing an electric current. The ionic conductor contains deuterium ions and contains hydrogen as a negative electrode material. It is a low-temperature fusion method using a material that can be stored in, and makes the lithium 7 isotope abundance ratio contained in the hydrogen storage alloy or the like in the negative electrode material higher than the natural value. [Effects] According to the present invention, it is possible to efficiently perform a low temperature fusion reaction.
