titleOfInvention | Monoclonal antibody discriminating between phosphorylated histone H1 and non-phosphorylated histone H1 and use thereof |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] The present invention was obtained from a monoclonal antibody which selectively binds to phosphorylated histone H1 but not to non-phosphorylated histone H1, cells producing the monoclonal antibody, and an individual. The present invention relates to a method for evaluating the presence or absence of dedifferentiated (or undifferentiated) cells in cells or tissues, and a kit used for the evaluation. In one embodiment, the monoclonal antibodies of the invention selectively bind histone H1 phosphorylated at the 12D11 epitope. [Effect] By monitoring changes in the phosphorylation status of histone H1 using the monoclonal antibody of the present invention, normal cells and dedifferentiated (neoplastic) cells can be effectively and reliably distinguished from various tissue systems. |
