abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Structure] Acidic carboxypeptidase having the following physicochemical properties and sugar chain structure. (1) The molecular weight, (a) the molecular weight measured by the ultracentrifugation method is 139000. (B) The molecular weight measured by the gel filtration method is 135,000. (C) The molecular weight by SDS-polyacrylamide electrophoresis is 72000, (2) isoelectric point: 4.2, and (3) it has a sugar chain structure of the right formula. A method for producing the acidic carboxypeptidase, which comprises culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus Aspergillus and capable of producing the acidic carboxypeptidase in a medium, and collecting the acidic carboxypeptidase from the culture. An immunosuppressant containing the above-mentioned acid carboxypeptidase as an active ingredient. [Effect] It was possible to provide a novel acid carboxypeptidase and a method for producing the enzyme from a microorganism, and an immunosuppressant containing the novel acid carboxypeptidase as an active ingredient.
