titleOfInvention Acaricide
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] The cedar essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the cedar branches and leaves is extracted with a water-containing polar organic solvent, and the oil is collected from the extract, or the cedar essential oil is subjected to a silica gel or neutral alumina column. An acaricide containing, as an active ingredient, an oxygen-containing terpenoid mixture obtained by subjecting to chromatography, eluting with a nonpolar organic solvent and then with a polar organic solvent, and collecting an oil component from the polar organic solvent fraction. [Effect] 62.5% at 80 μg / cm 2 , 240 μg / cm 2 has a high acaricidal effect of 94.9%. Since it is harmless to humans and animals and has a soft fragrance, it is particularly suitable for use in houses.
