abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide an emulsion having excellent photographic sensitivity and graininess, and having little variation in photographic sensitivity against variations in processing solutions. [Structure] A tabular grain having a silver iodide content in the fringe region of 1.5 to 50 times that of the central region and an aspect ratio of 8 to 100 is a projection of all silver halide grains. A silver halide emulsion which occupies 50 to 100% of the area and has a coefficient of variation of grain size of all silver halide grains of 0 to 20%. |
