(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a rat 26S proteasome and a method for producing the same. [Structure] Rat S26 proteasome, which is an intracellular multifunctional protease that decomposes ubiquitin-binding proteins. The rat 26S proteasome is produced by purifying and isolating it from a cytosolic fraction such as rat liver cells by a physicochemical separation method using a specific separation solvent containing ATP. [Effect] It has an action of decomposing ubiquitinated proteins, and is useful for elucidating the mechanism of various pathological conditions including various cancers, diagnosis and treatment. |
