(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] The object of the present invention is to coat an inner surface with a coating composition containing as few individual components as possible, but nevertheless, it is easily peeled from products of various compositions. It is possible to provide a versatile food casing. Disclosed is a tubular casing for foods, particularly a sausage casing, in which peelability is remarkably improved. The inner surface of the cellulosic sausage casing is coated with alginate, alginic acid, chitosan or a combination of these active substances. |
