abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] The present invention discloses boron silicate, aluminum silicate, phosphorus silicate, a method for synthesizing them, and a method for purifying DNA using them. The novel composition of the present invention has the following monomer unit composition: (In the formula, X is silicon, boron, aluminum or phosphorus, R is independently OH or a monomer unit, n is 3 when X is Si, 2 is X when X is boron, aluminum or phosphorus), and the formula: A repeating unit of the composition represented by the above, the above monomer, and a composition comprising the repeating unit are provided. Repeating the above units may include from 2 to infinity. The range includes 2 to 100,000,000 and 2 to 100,000.
