A magnetic recording medium comprising a non-magnetic support and a magnetic layer in which ferromagnetic fine powder is dispersed in a binder, wherein the binder is amine-modified and contains a carboxyl group-containing vinyl chloride copolymer. It is characterized by using a polymer as a main component.
