titleOfInvention Wholly aromatic polyamide structural material
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide a structural material having heat resistance and flame retardancy, and having high surface smoothness, which is useful as a material for an automobile food silencer and a partition wall between an engine room and a passenger compartment. [Structure] An anionic or cationic polymer flocculant in a dispersion liquid in which a raw material prepared by mixing mica particles, wholly aromatic polyamide fibrids (preferably further wholly aromatic polyamide fibers) in a specific ratio is dispersed in water. Is added, and a wholly aromatic polyamide structural material having good surface smoothness is formed by wet molding from this dispersion by a papermaking method or a pulp molding method.
