(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method for producing a pigmented polyimide article having a polyimide matrix in which fine pigment particles are uniformly dispersed. The method comprises the steps of milling the pigment particles in an organic solvent; a thermoplastic polyamic acid precursor derived from the pigment particles from 4,4'-oxydiphthalic acid dianhydride and aromatic and / or aliphatic diamines. Pre-wet with; to prepare a dope by mixing the treated pigment particles with a polyamic acid polymerization mixture; molding the dope, and thermally or chemically converting the molded dope to uniformly contain the pigment particles. The process of making an article is included. |
