titleOfInvention | Molded catalyst for producing unsaturated carboxylic acid and method for producing unsaturated carboxylic acid using the same |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a novel form of catalyst for advantageously producing unsaturated carboxylic acid from unsaturated aldehyde by gas phase catalytic oxidation. A solid catalyst molded body, which is a catalyst particle having a through hole in the center and has a shape in which the outside is in contact with a circumscribing circle at at least three rounded points. The catalyst component contains at least molybdenum and vanadium. [Effect] By increasing the outer surface area of the catalyst to enhance the activity and reducing the pressure loss of the reaction system, the selectivity of the target substance can be enhanced. |
