abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To improve the life of a nickel-zinc storage battery so that the battery can be charged quickly. [Structure] A plurality of unit cells 7 are stacked with a heat collecting plate 8 sandwiched therebetween, and an aluminum heat radiating plate 11 is provided outside the unit cell 7 aggregate in a state of being connected to the heat collecting plate 8. An air passage 24 for air that serves as a refrigerant is formed on the outer surface of the heat sink 11. By cooling the unit cell 7, the unit cell 7 is forcibly cooled, the battery life is improved, and quick charging is possible.
