abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] In an image forming system such as a textile printing system, to faithfully reproduce the color selected in designing. [Structure] A standard color patch of a color selected in design is read (SS9-1), based on this, drive data for the print head is calculated and printing is performed (SS9-3, SS9-5). Next, the print image is read (SS9-7), the color data obtained by the read is compared with that of the standard color (SS9-9), and the drive data is corrected until the difference between the two becomes less than a predetermined value.
