abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] The present invention relates to a method for preparing a silver halide photographic emulsion, and an object thereof is to provide a method for reducing fog without decreasing sensitivity. The method of the present invention is a method for preparing a silver halide photographic emulsion, which comprises adding a disulfide compound and a sulfinate compound to a silver halide emulsion after precipitation or before or during sensitization.
