(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for improving the adhesion between two films in a method for producing a metal-coated polyimide substrate by depositing an electroless plating film of nickel or the like and an electrolytic copper plating film. [Structure] Nickel, cobalt, or an alloy of these metals is deposited on the surface of a polyimide resin film substrate by electroless plating, followed by heat treatment in an inert atmosphere, and then electroless deposition of nickel or the like. In the method for producing a metal-coated polyimide substrate by applying electrolytic copper plating or electroless copper plating to the plating film surface, the electroless plating film surface such as nickel after heat treatment is treated with permanganate or hypochlorous acid. The surface treatment is characterized by using an aqueous solution containing any one of a salt and a peroxosulfate. |
