titleOfInvention Grease composition with excellent biodegradability
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Most conventional grease is said to have poor biodegradability, but even if it is mixed with rivers, groundwater, soil, ocean, etc., most of it is degraded by organisms. A grease composition excellent in biodegradability which is free from water pollution, soil pollution and marine pollution is provided. The composition is characterized in that an oil containing at least 80% by weight of a polyol ester oil is used as a base oil, which is thickened with a thickener to have a biodegradation rate of 80% or more.
