Exhaust control valve device for 2-cycle engine |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To ensure that the exhaust control valve operates from the start of the engine. [Structure] The ECU 30 that controls the exhaust control valve 21 is provided with a sticking prevention unit that operates the exhaust control valve 21 after the engine is stopped. Carbon and oil solidified between the exhaust control valve 21 and the cylinder body 2 are scraped out into the main exhaust passage 16 by the edge of the exhaust control valve 21 after the engine is stopped. That is, the engine 1 cools between the exhaust control valve 21 and the cylinder body 2 with as little carbon or oil as possible. Therefore, the resistance when the exhaust control valve 21 is turned after the engine is started becomes small. |
