titleOfInvention | Method for producing toner composition |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Small particle size of less than 10 microns and about 1.2 It is an object of the present invention to provide a method of making an encapsulated toner composition having a narrow geometric particle size distribution such as about 1.4. A mixture of one or more monomers, pigments and optional charge control additives; the resulting mixture dispersed in a surfactant aqueous medium to a geometry of about 1.4 to about 1.7. A fine particle size distribution of the fine particle size is prepared; a second monomer is added, whereby the second monomer is absorbed by the fine particle size to obtain a geometric particle size distribution of the fine particle size of about 1.2 to. A toner composition characterized by narrowing to about 1.0; polymerizing the resulting mixture to separate a toner containing a core polymer resin, a pigment, an optional charge control additive and a polymer on its surface. Method of manufacturing things. |
