abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] Polymerization of olefins in which finely divided polymers having a particle size of 100 μm or less are rarely present and a polymer having excellent particle properties can be obtained in high yield while maintaining high stereoregularity. A method for polymerizing a solid catalyst component for use with a catalyst for polymerization containing the catalyst component. [Constitution] (a) Spherical dialkoxymagnesium, (b) A suspension of an aromatic hydrocarbon that is liquid at room temperature and (c) phthalic acid diester is added to a mixed solution of the above (b) substance and (d) titanium tetrachloride in a specific ratio, and the temperature is raised to react. After washing the product with an aromatic hydrocarbon, it is reacted again with (d) titanium tetrachloride. Then, the solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization obtained by the reaction by adding the substance (b) in which polystyrene is dissolved in advance (e). A polymerization method in which olefins are polymerized in the presence of a catalyst formed of the solid catalyst component and an organoaluminum compound and an organosilicon compound. |
