abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Structure] A tetrapyrrole derivative having a basic structure represented by the general formula (1) and optionally having a substituent, or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof An anti-complement agent as an active ingredient. (In the formula, R 1 and R 2 each represent a hydroxyl group or a substituted hydroxyl group, and a single bond or a double bond is present between the carbon at the 10th position and the carbon at the 11th position.) [Effect] The anti-complement agent comprising a pyrrole derivative is useful for treating / preventing diseases caused by complement reaction (eg, inflammation, allergic diseases, etc.).
