(57) Abstract: A flame-resistant polycarbonate molding material comprising halogen-free sulfonates of aromatic aldehydes or acetals of these aldehydes in an amount of about 0.005-10% of the total weight of the composition. Is disclosed. This composition, optionally further comprising an inorganic sulphate, exhibits flame retardancy and less tendency to drip compared to prior art compositions. |
