abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method effective for copolymerizing a diallylamine compound and an acrylamide compound as a monomer component. [Structure] An acrylamide compound (B) is continuously added to an aqueous solution containing a diallylamine compound (A), and hypophosphorous acid or a salt thereof is allowed to exist in a reaction system for copolymerization. Further, an ethylenically unsaturated compound (C) copolymerizable with the compound (B) can be additionally used, and in this case, the compound (C) is also continuously added to the system together with the compound (B). [Effect] A copolymer having a small amount of unreacted monomer can be obtained, and the molecular weight can be easily controlled. |
