titleOfInvention 2'-deoxy-2'-methylidene cytidine anhydrous crystal and method for producing the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] Anhydrous 2'-deoxy-2'-methylidene cytidine (DMDC) crystals and a finely pulverized product thereof. Also, D A method for producing anhydrous DMDC crystals, which comprises crystallizing DMDC from a solution of MDC in an organic solvent. [Effects] The anhydrous DMDC crystal of the present invention is significantly different from the conventionally known DMDC dihydrate crystal and amorphous anhydrous in physicochemical properties, and has characteristics not found in these, and is finely pulverized. Therefore, it is useful as a drug substance for an oral preparation.
