abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Addition of a substance that is safe, non-irritating, and has a wide range of applications to the effect of tartar formation to dental hygiene products such as toothpaste and mouthwash. An oral hygiene product having an inhibitory effect is provided. [Structure] Casein calcium degradation products obtained by treating casein calcium with a proteolytic enzyme originating from Aspergillus are safe, non-irritating, and have a wide range of applications. It was found to have extremely excellent properties for inhibiting tartar formation.
