abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a compound having an antipsychotic activity without causing extrapyramidal disorders. [Structure] Expression (In the formula, R is a phenyl group or a phenyl group substituted with any 1 to 3 of a group selected from a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group, a lower alkoxy group and a lower alkyl group, and n is 1 to 4 Which is an integer.) An aminoalkoxycarbazole derivative and a salt thereof. INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The compound of the present invention is useful as a therapeutic agent for schizophrenia that does not cause extrapyramidal disorders and a therapeutic agent for problematic behavior associated with cerebrovascular disorders and senile dementia.
