titleOfInvention Pancreatin micropellet particles that can be coated with a gastric juice resistant coating and a method for producing the micropellet particles
abstract (57) Summary [Objective] A pancreatin micropellet particle coatable with a gastric juice resistant coating, which can be filled with a high active substance content in a capsule due to its high bulk density, and a process for producing the same. The composition consists essentially of pancreatin, polyethylene glycol 4000 and a dilute paraffin solution and is a sphere or ellipsoid with a diameter or minor axis of 0.7 to 1.4 mm, and at least 80% of the particles have a minor axis. Micropellet particles having a particle size distribution with a major axis ratio of 1: 1 to 1: 2.
