abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a reversible thermosensitive recording material which can be chemically colored and decolored only by controlling thermal energy, has low toxicity, and can stably maintain various properties. . [Structure] The above-mentioned object is a recording material comprising a support and a recording layer containing a leuco dye, a color-developing / decoloring agent, and a binder as main components, wherein the color-developing / decoloring agent is a phenolic hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group. A complex salt of an organic acid having any of the groups and an amine compound, which is obtained by mixing a solution of the above organic acid in an organic solvent and a solution of the above amine compound in an organic solvent by filtration and drying. It can be achieved by using a reversible thermosensitive recording material characterized by being a decoloring agent.
