(57) [Summary] [Objective] Fluorine in waste liquid containing fluorophosphate ions is reduced to a low value by a relatively inexpensive chemical and by a means that can be easily implemented industrially. [Structure] Sulfuric acid was added to a waste liquid generated during the production of hexafluorophosphate so that the concentration of sulfuric acid was 35% by weight, and this was heat-treated for 2 hours at a treatment temperature of 80 ° C while stirring. Next, calcium hydroxide is added until the pH of the solution shows 11, and the concentration of residual fluorine in the solution is reduced to 20 ppm. |
