abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] The olefin polymerization catalyst using a metallocene-based transition metal compound maintains a high polymerization activity per aluminum, and also enhances the polymerization activity per carrier. We also present an efficient olefin polymerization method using this catalyst. [Structure] The metallocene-based transition metal compound (A), the lanthanoid salt (B) and the organoaluminum compound (C) are all brought into contact with each other to obtain a catalyst. When carrying out the polymerization with this catalyst, the olefin is homopolymerized or copolymerized in the presence of the (D) organoaluminum compound, if necessary. |
